Can a 3PL fulfil eBay orders?

Yes, and eBay is one of the more straightforward marketplaces to fulfil from a third party because the seller keeps control of the listing. We hold the stock, ship the order and upload tracking. What eBay actually cares about is that handling time is met and the tracking is real.

Why does dispatch speed matter more on eBay than elsewhere?

Because handling time feeds search placement. A late dispatch costs the listing's position before it costs the sale, and a defect rate that creeps up is much slower to repair than it is to acquire. Orders in by our cut-off ship the same day, which is the point of using a warehouse rather than a spare room.

Can you handle used, refurbished and returned stock as well as new?

That is most of what eBay inventory is. The same part number can exist on our shelves as new, open-box and refurbished, and those are three different products with three different prices — so we store by condition as well as by SKU, and pick against the condition the listing sold.

What about thousands of one-off SKUs?

One-off and low-quantity items are normal in eBay selling and they are the reason a lot of generic fulfilment centres decline the account. We hold them in a bin location system rather than a pallet position, so a single unit has an address and does not have to justify a pallet's worth of rent.

Do you process eBay returns?

Yes. Returns come back to the same building, get inspected and graded, and go back into sellable stock at the right condition rather than into a pile. On a marketplace where returns are a routine part of the model, that is the difference between a return being recovered and being written off.

Where do you ship eBay orders from?
